Monkey see, Monkey do. This morning, I scolded Logan not to watch TV too close and carried him further away from the TV, he looked cross, screamed at me and then beat my face!
Because we sometimes beat Logan's hand when he was naughty. So now he's imitating us.
Henry suggested using a rubber band to shoot Logan when he is naughty since it is impossible for Logan to pick up "shooting with a rubber band" skill. Hmm...Let's see.

Logan had a big fall
On 28th Aug 2010 night, Logan had a big fall. This time was a serious one because he was sitting on the edge of the bed and fell down with his head landed on the solid ground first. A big mushy, swollen lump surfaced on the side of his head just above his left ear.
I brought him to see doctor the next day while henry brought him to see another doc the next few days later. Henry even cut logan's hair botak to monitor the lump which seemed smaller only after 1 week plus. We applied ZAM BUK daily on his lump. No medication.
Logan's behaviour after the fall was normal. He can walk, talk, hear, respond and acknowledge things as usual. No vomit and fever.
We hope that he will be alright.

Jurong Lake Park
Logan was not fascinated at all by the big playground at Jurong Lake Park. Perhaps he felt disturbed by the sandy ground which he seemed hesitated to walk on. However, we found a good place to relax - Chinese Garden(Free Entrance). We saw a family picnic by the peaceful lake and enjoying themselves. They buckled a girl toddler on her chair and placed her further away from the lake as a safety precaution. It is a nice place to jog too!
We had our coffee break at the spacious Taman Jurong Macdonald's. Logan had a great time playing with 2 elder toddlers there. But they got too excited and screamed loudly at times. So we went off after we finished our meal.

National day long weekends
This National day long weekends, Logan was very happy. Because he went Gai-Gai to a few places. On Sat morning, he went to MMI 1hr enrichment class. This one - no fun to him. He always hugged me or his dad very tight like a koala bear when we are about to carry him to the classroom. Anyway, we will not continue this programme anymore until end of August.
On Sunday, we went to JP to buy Xtra vouchers for Maybank 15% rebate but no stock. We went out with Ah-Ma & Ah-Gong to eat dinner at Ah Yat's Seafood near Jurong bird park in the evening. Logan ate 1 bowl of rice leaving a bit for his mum. That night, I ate bread as supper. After dinner, we went up to jurong hill to see the night scene.
On Monday, Logan enjoyed the most! Because he can open & close, open & close so many different kitchen cabinets at IKEA. He was mumbling excitingly and walked very fast by himself along the guided path. He looked at the design of flooring and wanted to kneel down and touch them.
I've not watched national day parade for many years. But this year, the fireworks go well together with the lightings at Marina floats and Marina Casino. It was a very beautiful sight.

I like to disturb adults...
One morning, Logan woke up me up by using his toes to touch my face. I act blur and he did it again 3 times. When I opened my eyes, he was smilingly very cheekily.
On saturday afternoon, I was using the computer in my room, back-facing him when Logan came into the room. He suddenly touched my hand from behind me, trying to catch my attention. When I turned around, he fled off laughing away.
When Logan saw Henry's sister sms-ing, he purposely used his hand to swipe off the mobile from her hand and then said, "haha".
Last saturday evening, We went to Macdonald's for coffee break. Logan was playing with his water bottle when he accidentally dropped it. Guess what is his first response? He immediately look at me with guilt...seemed like he was afraid that I would scold him.

Getting more expressive.
When I asked Logan,"Where is your nappy?". He would come back and pick it up from the floor where he dropped just now. - He can understand more of what we said nowsaday.
He throws tantrums by crying or pushing me away when I don't let him do something that he wants to do.
He enjoys the company of his cousins. He always get excited when first seeing them. He likes to move around with them, watching and sometimes imitating what they do.
Logan is fairly protective of his toys, reluctant to share at this stage.
Sometimes, he wants to assert his independence - by refusing to hold my hand when we walk outside. He wants to walk in his own direction to see something that attracts him.

I still don't want to sleep....
At 18mths years old, Logan's
Weight: 12.8kg (put on very much weight)
Height: 82cm
Yesterday, Dr Soo did an assessment on Logan when he went for his jab. Generally, the doctor said Logan is fine at this stage except that he does not know where's his ears and nose. I remembered Logan knew last time but probably he has forgotten. Need to teach him again. *phew*. Somehow, he remembers where his mouth is because he's such a glutton!
Recently, when we turn in at about 1030pm, Logan is still not sleepy yet. He would move around the room, getting out and back onto his bed, playing with his nappy. On one night, I was already sleepy and suddenly he came to dig my eyes open with his finger! Sometimes, he would stare at my closed eyes for a long time, like waiting for me to open. When I opened my eyes, he would smile to me happily. Last night, he just stood by our bed and wondered what's happening because he heard someone snoring away loudly!
Logan is closer to his dad. That is because his dad always strives to be the one to feed Logan milk. I was left to do those no "value-added-to-Logan" services like clearing Logan's poo-poo, changing diapers, bathing and carry logan to calm him down when he is cranky & crying loudly.
