How is Logan doing?

"Sky!" said Logan, looking up in the sky when we brought him outside for a walk. We notice more words coming from him nowadays.

How he articulates these words:-
"Barney" becomes "Benny"
"Elmo" becomes "Armo"
"Tiger" becomes "girl"
"Apple" becomes "ple" - he tends to catch the last sound of a spoken word.
"Banana" becomes "MAMA" - so he actually knows how to say "MAMA" but till now he still refuses to call me.

He can go up and down the stairs with one hand holding on to the railings and another hand holding on to our hand. The funny thing is that after he goes down one step successfully, he will then say "yeh..." to praise himself. Well, we will let him try on his own at a cushioned staircase next time.

He can put on his shoes correctly on his own but usually putting on the second shoe takes a longer time. Recently, he likes to use his finger to poke people to catch their attention.

I know how to say 1,goon,3...

Logan knows how to say 1,2,3....until 10 when he saw the vcd showing counting of numbers from 1 to 10 slowly. If we say '1', he will say 'goon' for '2' (he cannot articulate well). When we continue saying '3', he can pronounce '4' very accurate.

To summarise:-
1,4,5,8,9,10 - > he can articulate well
2,3,6,7 -> dunno what is he talking about. haha...

However, Logan still dunno how to say A,B,C yet.

Nowsaday, he can express himself better and demand things.

For example, he would take out a Barney cd cover from the drawer and hand it to his dad, demanding to watch the Barney show in the morning. So his dad had no choice but gave in and stopped watching his favourite Hong Kong TVB show.


Logan is one weird baby. He can watch Jacky Cheung's live concert DVD for 1 hour attentively in front of the TV without being cranky. Throughout the DVD, it only showed Jacky Cheung singing and talking on the stage (no dancing) and the audiences clapping. What's so interesting to watch? hmmm...Ma Chiam he knows how to appreciate nice songs and voices! We tried Andy Lau's concert DVD also but Logan dislike. Maybe because Henry and I are fans of jacky Cheung so Logan also like? haha....
