My 2nd Child - Phoebe

Ok, this is my 2nd posting for 2011. Now is already October! :P I delivered my 2nd child in May 2011. She resembles her brother the most except for the eyes! So people always mistook her as a baby boy. She is now 5 months old already and can flip over by herself.

Hello! My name is Phoebe Arwin Li Zi Yi 李姿仪 ***4 months old ***

My uniform is ready!

Yesterday, Logan wore his school uniform for the 1st time to school. Actually we ordered slightly bigger size for his uniform on 1st Nov 2010. However, 2.5 months later, it fitted just nice on Logan now. Sigh! Should have bought a even bigger size.

Logan's 1st School Excursion to Organic Vegetable Farm.

On 23rd Dec, "My First Skool" organised an excursion to Organic Vegetable Farm @ Neo Tiew Road. Logan was extremely thrilled because he saw many small children walking about and traveling on the bus together. Some photos taken by his dad:

###Logan:"Ohhoo..What's happening over there?"###

###Logan:"Any worm inside there?"###

###Logan:"Chey! Nothing much to see this section. What's next?"###

Recently, Logan is becoming more eager to tell us what he knows about the surrounding. For example, he will say "circle" when he sees the round markings on the badminton court which we walk past everyday. He will do the same for the square tiles on the floor. He will say "1...9...2" for the car park slot number 192. If he says something but we are not paying attention to him, he will scratch our hands with his fingers, demanding acknowledgement from us.

Merry Christmas 2010!

One week before Christmas day, we brought Logan to take some photos at Orchard road. It was so crowded that we just snapped a few photos and called it a day. hee hee. Next time, we should go in late Nov. This year's lighting was quite special. It was all-blue lighting theme from Scotts road to Heeren and all-purple lighting theme from Somerset onwards. It was quite nice on spot but not so fantastic in photos. Logan was quite excited and happy that day. He can appreciate the xmas lighting better as compared to last year.

On Christmas day itself, we celebrated in my 3rd younger sister's house. We pot-luck with different kind of dishes - Curry Chicken (super spicy), Salad, Fruits platter, X'mas Cake, Fried Bee Hoon, Sweet & Sour Pork, Fish Nuggets, Fishballs, Satay, Broccoli with mushroom, Premium Salmon, Herbal tea and Tiramisu cake. Not forgetting wines, beer, herbal tea, cokes. :D

My eldest sis made the 2 different taste of Tiramisu cakes and she went around asking everyone which one we would like to have before she serve us the cakes. In the end, she "forcefully" offered both types to each one of us. Sigh!

###Logan: My papa is a bit drunk.*burp*###

Finally, it's time to open Xmas presents at 11pm! Logan was already fast asleep since 10pm. Ah-gong called us at around 10pm, asking us to "da-bao" home some food for him.

Logan's 2 years old birthday.

Logan turned 2 years old on 6th Dec 2010. We had a simple birthday cake-blowing session at Ah-Ma's house with all his cousins.

Before we started the cake-blowing session, Kieran kept staring at the cake covered in a box and asked enthusiastically,"Is it a Ben-10 cake? or Mickey mouse cake?" I said,"Dang! wrong answer." Then he said, "Ok,I think hard again but i think i don't know. Is it a allergy monster cake?" In the end, he gave up.

Well, it seemed like Logan did not know it was his birthday celebration. *see the video*. It was definitely wonderful to have all his cousins blowing cake together with him. :)

He's so crafty, isn't he?

Whenever we scold Logan, he would either point else where and say, "car!", or he would say "flower or clock" - in an attempt to divert our attention not to scold him. Isn't he crafty at this age before 2 years old? I'm not sure, maybe other toddlers outside are craftier than him.

Recently, he like to wave goodbye to strangers and say, "bye-bye" sometimes comes with a "friend's kiss" with a "Smooch" sound. One incident, he covered his eyes and trying to play peek-a-boo with a stranger in the lift. Because that man ignored Logan, so Logan made faces at him by using his fingers to pull the skin at the lower part of his eyes. Naughty!

Well, he's still crying when we drop him in school every morning but I guess it will get better soon. Because according to the teachers, he stops crying after a while but is very attached to any teacher (no preference), wanting the teacher to carry most of the time. Today, his chinese teacher asked us why is it that Logan don't like to play toys at all? same behaviour at home? He only like to stick to the teacher like super glue and watch the other toddlers playing.

My family all commented that Logan is more active, talkative and more mischievious after attending school. I think should be good since Logan used to be fairly quiet last time.

Logan goes to skool already!

The principal just told me 3 days in advance that there was a vacancy for Logan at Childcare centre and expected us to bring Logan to skool on the following monday. It is a bit rush for us and to notify my mum. Ah-ma is sad that Logan is going to skool and she is out of job too so bored at home.

For the 1st day, Logan attended the skool with my accompany for half a day. He did not cry since I am around but he did not play with other toddlers as well. He just played with himself and observed others. There was a girl who snatched Logan's toy and Logan yelled at her. He got cranky at 11am coz it is his sleeping time. I do not ahve time to adjust his sleeping to the same as childcare centre yet.

For the 2nd day, I already witnessed a boy who bit 2 other toddlers.*faint*.I left the skool after Logan fallen asleep at 1pm. Teacher told me he cried "on" and "off" after he woke up at 3pm.

On the 3rd day,it's his dad's turn to accompany Logan. Pretty much the same behaviour from Logan.

Finally, on the 4th day, we left Logan for a full day at the skool. He cried non-stop as expected. Only when the teacher carried him, he stopped crying for a while. However, good things are that he eat well and sleep well at the skool. On the 5th day, Logan lost a bit of his voice from his all day long crying session! haha...

Well, I feel that the food provided at the skool is not enough for Logan. So I always feed him full with porridge in the morning before he goes to skool. Then I also feed him a full bowl of solid rice for dinner and a bottle of milk at 3am.

Nowsaday, when I parked the car at the skool car park, Logan started to cry. He would cling on tightly to his dad when we are walking to the skool along the void deck.

Sigh! I wonder how long Logan will stop crying in skool.
